Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: January 2026

Our Commitment to Transparency

ShelfCents believes in transparency and honesty with our users. This disclosure explains our relationships with third parties and how they may affect the content and recommendations on our platform.

Affiliate Links

Currently, ShelfCents does not use affiliate links. In the future, we may partner with grocery stores, kitchen product retailers, or food brands and include affiliate links. If we do, we will clearly label affiliate links and only recommend products or services we genuinely believe provide value to our users.

Sponsored Content

Currently, ShelfCents does not publish sponsored content. If we ever partner with brands for sponsored articles, recipes, or promotions, we will clearly disclose the sponsorship at the top of the content.

Product Recommendations

Any product, service, or brand mentioned on ShelfCents is recommended based on its relevance to our users' needs, not because of any financial relationship. Our meal planning and grocery suggestions are designed to save you money, not drive affiliate revenue.

Revenue Model

ShelfCents is free at launch and is primarily funded by the founding team. When premium features are introduced, revenue will come from user subscriptions, not from affiliate commissions or sponsored placements.

Changes to This Disclosure

If our affiliate or sponsorship practices change, we will update this disclosure page promptly. We will also add clear labels to any affiliate content on the platform.
