• Fridge Scanning: AI identifies ingredients from photos and suggests recipes
• Expiry Predictions: AI estimates when your food will expire to reduce waste
• Grocery Optimization: AI finds the best deals and substitutes to save you money
• Exercise Tracking: AI analyzes your workout form through your camera

We take your privacy seriously:

• AI processing happens on secure servers — not on your device
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties
• Photos you scan are processed for identification and then deleted
• You can delete your data anytime from Settings
• We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and EU AI Act requirements

Important things to know about our AI:

• AI-generated content is labeled with "AI" badges throughout the app
• AI predictions are estimates — always use your own judgment
• Expiry predictions depend on storage conditions and may vary
• Meal suggestions may not account for all dietary restrictions
• We recommend reviewing AI suggestions before acting on them

You have control over AI features:

• AI features are optional — you can use ShelfCents without them
• Disable AI features in Settings at any time
• Request a copy of your data or deletion via Settings
• Opt out of AI improvements while keeping core features
