Terms of Service

8.1 Free Trial

ShelfCents offers a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. During the trial period, you will have full access to Pro features at no charge. Your trial begins on the date you subscribe and ends 7 days later. You will receive reminder notifications before your trial expires.

8.2 Subscription Plans

After your free trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan at the then-current rate. Currently available plans:

• Pro Monthly: $9.99/month (billed monthly)
• Pro Yearly: $79.99/year (billed annually, equivalent to $6.67/month)

8.3 Auto-Renewal

ALL SUBSCRIPTIONS AUTOMATICALLY RENEW. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually, depending on your plan) unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current subscription price using the payment method on file.

8.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Stripe Customer Portal, accessible from your ShelfCents Settings page under "Billing." Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to Pro features until the end of the paid period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period.

8.5 Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our service, all subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you cancel during a free trial, you will not be charged. If you believe you were charged in error, contact Shelfcents@gmail.com within 30 days of the charge.

8.6 Price Changes

ShelfCents reserves the right to modify subscription prices with at least 30 days' prior notice. Price changes will take effect at your next renewal date. Continued use of the service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

8.7 Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service (https://stripe.com/terms). ShelfCents does not store your credit card information.

9.1 Eligibility

One free trial is available per user. ShelfCents reserves the right to determine trial eligibility and may refuse or revoke trials at its discretion.

9.2 Trial Duration

The free trial period is 7 calendar days from the date of subscription.

9.3 Conversion

At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial expires. You will be charged the applicable subscription fee using your payment method on file.

9.4 Trial Reminders

ShelfCents will send you reminder notifications during your trial period, including at approximately 2 days, 1 day, and on the day your trial expires.

9.5 Revocation

ShelfCents may revoke trial access if we detect abuse, including creating multiple accounts to obtain additional trials.

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If informal resolution fails within 30 days, either party may initiate binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.

11.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

11.4 EU Consumers

If you are a consumer in the European Union, nothing in these Terms deprives you of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. You may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

12.1 14-Day Withdrawal Right

If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to withdraw from your subscription within 14 days of subscribing, without giving any reason, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).

12.2 How to Withdraw

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by an unambiguous statement (e.g., email to Shelfcents@gmail.com). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.

12.3 Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw within 14 days, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw.

12.4 Digital Content Exception

If you have already started using the Pro features during the withdrawal period, you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the digital content service has been fully performed, or if you have given explicit consent to begin performance during the withdrawal period and acknowledged the loss of the right of withdrawal.
